The finale of London College of Fashion’s graduate show presented 26 collections, with several collaborations that fused the talents of contour fashion, womenswear, embroidery, and millinery. These graduating classes of 2014 show how vital technicalities are when it comes to getting abstract ideas to physical fruition. With inspirations spanning from the concept of obsolescence, to art school ‘zines and historical tribal art, it seems that the future holds lines of sundry themes, and feels brighter than ever, with just a slight (and imperative) minatory tinge.
