Combining their three loves- coffee, cycling and sustainability , two London Royal College of Art product design students have created a mobile espresso bar, the Velopresso. A truly free-wheeling carrier of caffeine, the vehicle operates on pedal power, with no electricity and no tethers. Just five seconds of pedaling will grind enough for a double shot, while a camp stove heats the water, and steam powers the espresso machine!

Now, imagine if we could add a table extension and fill the drawers with paint, stationary and other bits and bobs, this could be a mobile art station, with the passing scenery an inspiration for creation.  We are thinking, perhaps the English countryside or… Montreal? After all, coffee is fuel for the creative soul. Bravo Velopresso!
