Hailing from Monterrey, Mexico, Mariana Garcia is a photographer and artist whose works we are currently loving. With a degree in graphic design, she soon decided to pursue photography and dabbles in a mixture of portraiture, editorials and reportage. Stemming from a nostalgic place, her inspiration is borrowed  from the good old days and classic movies..

With ‘Pretty People See Pretty Things’ she collaborates with fashion designer & stylist Concepcion Piña and together, the duo conjure modern-day surrealist scenes with geometric printed fabrics that resemble retro wallpaper. Juxtaposed against a Twiggy-looking model, the captivating chameleon-like imagery is a burst of kaleidoscopic energy…
