Strange Plants is both a celebration of and a reflection about the role that plants play in our lives.  A myriad of flora is represented and reinvented in this book, in which artists were invited to contribute both new and old work involving nature. “The artists in this book were challenged to think about their work in new ways and ruminate on their unique experiences with plants,” editor Zio Baritaux says. “I hope this book will inspire others, and challenge the way people look at both plants and art.” With the proliferation of plants and flowers on Instagram nowadays, the timing could not have been more appropriate.
