Rarely does a piece of art interact or respond to its immediate environment; Chris Wood’s works are exceptions. His geometric arrangements of colourful pieces of glass form different mesmerising patterns at different times of the day, depending on how the light hits the glass. We’ve always been fascinated with light, and have tried different ways over the centuries to capture and exploit it, but its sense of ethereality yields to no one.
