Instagram art? If you’re skeptical, we wouldn’t be surprised, but Singaporean Instagrammer Ng Weijiang makes creative use of the app’s grid format to create continuous works of art in larger compositions that are only visible when you view his entire feed. Sticking to a monochromatic palette, the individual photos are no less cinematically composed. As attention spans shrink in this generation, Ng creates stories out of an otherwise glance-through application with a bit of meticulous planning and some clever editing, drawing his viewers in and forcing them to pause, and spend more than just a mere few seconds on each photo.
