We all know how important water is; it’s something that has been drummed into us ever since we were little kids, yet knowledge does not always translate into action. Watermark is a documentary that hopes to change this. Lensed by renowned Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky, in a collaboration with award-winning documentary directors Jennifer Bachiwal and Nick de Pencier, the film shows mankind’s impact on water, and water’s impact on us, in a manner that is both devastatingly, cinematographically stunning, and also irrefutably harrowing.
The documentary has yet to be screened in Singapore, but you can keep tabs on it on the Watermark Facebook page and watch the trailer here.
