We often overlook the most mundane, everyday objects in our day to day lives, never thinking of the possibilities they might have. Tokujin Yoshioka pushes himself to create astounding works that are minimal in concept, yet extravagant in execution. Tornado is one such work, making use of two million translucent straws to create an installation that conveys a mass of movement, but seems to be stopped in time.
