K.BLU Swim is a local swimwear brand established in 2014. It provides elegant and sophisticated, yet functional and practical swimwear, with a fit specially catered to the Asian frame. From the onset, UNIFORM was involved with consulting and directing the brand’s campaigns, lookbooks, campaign videos, and brand collaterals. For two consecutive seasons, we were also involved in hosting the press, media, and various influencers and tastemakers for the launch of the collections, and assisted in other K.BLU Swim events, such as pop-up stores and runway shows.

K.BLU Swim’s Sleek Sprinter capsule collection captured a sportier, more functional feel. Featuring greater coverage and protection from the sun, the collection presents a shift towards a more practical aesthetic for the woman who wants the most out of her swimwear. RESORT 2014

A follow up to its successful first season, K.BLU’s Resort 2014 season similarly had two distinct collections: Le Grande Bleu and Gems Ashore. Shot on a yacht out at sea, the campaign invites the viewer to come away with K.BLU, and reflects the season’s inspirations: the wide expanse and boundlessness of the deep sea, and the mystery of the humble seashell. UNIFORM provided overall styling and consultation for the shoots.

SPRING/SUMMER 2014

The debut season of K.BLU entails two collections: Precious Porcelain, and Azure Sky. Taking its cue from oriental Chinese porcelain and the rich hues of the sea, the collections’ East meets West inspiration was recaptured in the campaign.
