Japanese artist and cartographer Sohei Nishino creates maps — but not just any maps; visiting some of the most iconic cities across the world, Nishino takes thousands of photos of locations across the city, and then painstakingly cuts up and pieces together these photos to create intricately detailed collages that capture not only the landmarks of each city, but also tiny details like people on the streets.
